PURPOSE

About these guidelines

These guidelines are intended for authorized law enforcement, courts, prosecutors and other government authorities seeking information from Sexty in connection with an official investigation or legal proceeding. Sexty is operated by HISECORE sp. z o.o., Nowy Świat 33/13, 00-029 Warsaw, Poland, KRS 0001099591, NIP 5223294892, REGON 528343145.

Requests from private parties, civil litigants or users seeking their own data should use the appropriate privacy, support or legal channels instead.

03

OFFICIAL CHANNEL

How to submit a request

Authorized authorities may submit legal requests using the official law-enforcement contact shown on this page. Please send requests from an official government or law-enforcement email domain where possible.

Do not use an ordinary user report to send legal process. Requests should include complete supporting documents and preserve relevant message headers and attachments.

04

REQUIRED DETAILS

Information a request should contain

A request should include the following information where applicable.

Providing precise identifiers and a reasonable date range helps avoid requests affecting unrelated users or data.

  • Full name of the requesting authority.
  • Country and jurisdiction.
  • Name, title and official contact details of the responsible officer or official.
  • Official email address.
  • Case or reference number.
  • Legal basis for the request.
  • Copy of the relevant order, warrant, subpoena or other lawful authority where applicable.
  • Clear description of the information requested.
  • Relevant date range.
  • Sufficient Sexty user, account, conversation or service identifiers.
  • Requested response deadline and the legal reason for that deadline, if applicable.
05

PRECISE REFERENCES

Identifying the relevant Sexty account or activity

When available and known to the requesting authority, identifiers may include information such as an account identifier, verified email address, conversation identifier or other service-specific reference.

Provide only identifiers relevant to the investigation and explain their connection to the request. Sexty cannot guarantee that every identifier will correspond to information held by the service.

06

WHAT MAY EXIST

Data availability

The information available in response to a lawful request depends on the user's use of Sexty, the features involved, applicable retention periods and whether the information still exists in our systems.

Sexty does not guarantee that any particular category of information is available or retained. These guidelines do not create or extend a data-retention period.

07

EXISTING INFORMATION

Preservation requests

Where permitted by applicable law, authorized authorities may request the preservation of existing information while obtaining the legal process required for disclosure.

A preservation request should clearly identify the relevant account or service identifiers, the information to be preserved and the applicable legal authority. Preservation does not itself authorize disclosure of the preserved information.

Any preservation is subject to applicable law and Sexty's technical ability to preserve the relevant information.

08

IMMINENT HARM

Emergency requests

In a genuine emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, authorized law enforcement may submit an emergency disclosure request.

Emergency requests are evaluated case by case under applicable law. Mark the subject line: EMERGENCY REQUEST - [Agency] - [Case Number].

  • Nature of the emergency.
  • Identity of the person at risk.
  • Why the threat is believed to be imminent.
  • Information sought.
  • How the requested information may help prevent the harm.
  • Official contact details of the requesting authority.
09

MINOR AT RISK

Child safety emergencies

Requests involving suspected child sexual exploitation, abuse or an immediate risk to a minor should clearly identify the child-safety nature of the request.

Sexty may take appropriate preservation, safety and reporting measures where required or permitted by applicable law.

10

CROSS-BORDER PROCESS

International requests

Authorities outside the jurisdiction of the Sexty operating entity may be required to use the applicable international legal cooperation process or other legally recognized mechanism.

Sexty may request that a foreign authority obtain process recognized under the applicable laws governing the service provider. Applicable international or cross-border legal process may be required.

11

DATA MINIMIZATION

Scope and proportionality

We interpret requests narrowly and seek to disclose only information that is responsive to valid legal process.

Authorities should avoid requesting information that is not reasonably related to the identified investigation.

12

WHEN PERMITTED

User notice

Where legally permitted and appropriate, Sexty may notify a user that their information has been requested.

We may delay or withhold notice where prohibited by law, where a valid non-disclosure requirement applies, or where notice could create a risk of harm, obstruction or compromise of an investigation.

13

SECURE CORRESPONDENCE

Confidentiality

Law enforcement requests and related correspondence may contain sensitive information. Authorities should use official and secure channels when transmitting legally protected or sensitive materials.

14

OTHER CHANNELS

Requests from users and private parties

These guidelines are for authorized government and law-enforcement authorities. Users seeking access to their own personal information should refer to the Privacy Policy or contact Sexty through the privacy or support channel.

Private parties seeking information for civil litigation should use the legal process applicable to their jurisdiction. Sexty may decline requests that appear fraudulent, unauthorized or inconsistent with applicable law.

15

No direct system access

Sexty does not provide law-enforcement authorities with direct or unrestricted access to user accounts, conversations or internal systems.
