COMPARISONS / METHOD

A comparison should explain how it reached its conclusions.

This methodology sets the standard for Sexty articles that compare chat services, dating apps or conversation formats, including comparisons that feature Sexty itself.

01

SCOPE

We define the question and explain what was compared

A comparison should state the user need it addresses, the services or formats included and the date on which material information was checked. Inclusion is an editorial choice, not proof that every possible alternative was reviewed.

We do not describe a ranking as a representative market study unless it uses a method capable of supporting that claim. Local availability and relevance should be considered when an article is prepared for a particular country or language.

02

CRITERIA

Criteria follow the decision a reader is trying to make

Depending on the article, we may compare how a conversation starts, whether a public profile is required, the communication format, matching controls, visible safety tools, translation support and the conditions for free or paid access.

A feature is not automatically better because there are more options. We explain trade-offs and avoid combining unlike measures into a precise score that the available evidence cannot justify.

  • Conversation format and start flow
  • Profile visibility and privacy choices
  • Matching and communication controls
  • Safety, blocking and reporting tools
  • Translation and international use
  • Free access, subscriptions and stated limitations
03

EVIDENCE

The article must distinguish public research from hands-on testing

Official product pages, help centres, public policies and publicly accessible interfaces may be used to verify a feature. We identify external services with direct links where practical and include the date of the review when details may change.

We claim hands-on testing, measured performance or user outcomes only when that work was actually completed and documented. If we did not measure audience size, response time or dating success, the article must not imply that we did.

04

DISCLOSURE

Sexty's role and material changes are disclosed

Sexty is operated by the publisher of this website, so an article that includes Sexty must disclose that relationship. A commercial relationship must not be hidden or presented as independent evidence of quality.

Comparisons are snapshots. Features, prices and access conditions can change after publication. We show publication and update dates, revisit material claims when appropriate and accept correction requests at contact@sexty.chat.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they start

Does paying Sexty guarantee a place in a comparison?

No. A commercial relationship must not be hidden or treated as independent evidence of quality, and inclusion remains an editorial decision.

Does every comparison involve hands-on testing?

No. Each article should distinguish public-source research from hands-on testing and must not claim measurements or outcomes that were not documented.

Why can a comparison change after publication?

Products, prices, interfaces and policies change. Sexty displays update dates and revises material claims when reliable new information becomes available.
